Project background

The project plans to use the roof of the color steel tile factory building for the construction of a photovoltaic power station, with 2000 pieces of 440 tile components laid on the roof and a total installed capacity of 880kWp. After completion of construction, the expected service life is 25 years, and the annual photovoltaic power generation can reach 794800 kilowatt hours.

Project features

The roof of this factory building is made of colored steel tiles. Unlike ordinary concrete roofs, colored steel tile roofs can withstand lower load values. In this case, the lifting and installation of roof components need to be more rigorous and meticulous. In terms of lifting, our company lifts component materials in batches and quickly disperses them into a uniform area after each batch of materials is lifted to reduce roof pressure.

In terms of installation, our company chooses partition installation, mainly installed on the main beams of the factory's color steel tiles, with maintenance channels left between partitions to make the overall structure more sturdy.

Project benefits

The project is self funded by Wenyu Machinery Parts Factory, with a total investment of 2.5 million yuan. After learning about the benefits that photovoltaic projects can generate, the director of Wenyu Machinery Parts Factory made reasonable investments using the idle roofs of their own factory buildings. According to the 25 year lifespan of the grid connected photovoltaic power station built in this project, the average annual power generation of the 879.75kWp photovoltaic grid connected power generation system during the 25 year component conversion efficiency warranty period is 794800 kWh.

According to the latest electricity price data in Jiangsu Province, from 8:00 to 11:00 during peak hours, the electricity price is 1.16 yuan/kWh; Normally from 11:00 to 17:00, the electricity price is 0.67 yuan/kWh. After weighted average, it is basically 0.83 yuan/degree. Based on 80% self use and 20% online usage, the average annual income for 25 years is 541500 yuan, and the total income for 25 years is 13.5378 million yuan. It is expected that the power station will recoup in the third year after being put into use, with a net income of 690000 yuan in the fourth year, and a production ratio of 1:5.
