Photovoltaic bracket installation precautions

Reading volume:466      Update Date:2023-07-11 17:06:38

The installation structure of photovoltaic array brackets should be simple, sturdy, and durable. The materials used for manufacturing and installing photovoltaic array brackets should be able to withstand erosion from wind, rain, and various types of corrosion. Electroplated aluminum profiles, electroplated steel, and stainless steel are all ideal choices. The welding and manufacturing quality requirements of the bracket must comply with the requirements of the national standard "Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Steel Structures" (GB 50205-2001). The weight of the array bracket should be minimized as much as possible in accordance with the design requirements, in order to facilitate transportation and installation.

During the construction process of photovoltaic array foundations and supports, efforts should be made to avoid damage to relevant buildings and ancillary facilities. If local damage is unavoidable due to construction needs, it should be repaired promptly after the construction is completed.

When installing photovoltaic arrays on the roof, it is necessary to firmly weld or connect the base embedded parts with the steel bars of the main structure of the roof. If welding or connection cannot be carried out due to structural limitations, measures should be taken to increase the adhesion between the base and the roof, and fixed using methods such as wire tensioning or bracket extension fixation. After the completion of the base production, waterproof treatment should be carried out for the damaged or involved parts of the roof in accordance with the requirements of the national standard "Code for Quality Acceptance of Roof Engineering" (GB 50207-2002) to prevent water seepage and rain leakage.

The frame and bracket of photovoltaic cell modules should be reliably connected to the grounding system.

Firstly, fix the bracket on the roof, then install the solar modules on the bracket and fix the components with bolts. Thread the screws through the mounting holes of the flat gasket, component, and bracket frame.

Thread the screw through the flat washer and spring washer, and then tighten the nut at the end. The bracket should be made of 20 year durable and corrosion-resistant material. High temperature galvanized steel and stainless steel are preferred.

The firmness of the bracket should be able to withstand continuous loads, wind, snow, earthquake pressure, and other external forces.
