The photovoltaic tracking system can adjust the orientation of components according to the position of the sun through astronomical algorithms and position sensors, reduce the angle between the components and direct sunlight, obtain more solar radiation, maximize the use of land resources, and improve power generation. According to the number of tracking axes, it can be divided into single axis tracking system and dual axis tracking system.

Single axis tracking system → Rotating around one axis → Main tracking azimuth

Dual axis tracking system → rotates around two axes → simultaneously tracks azimuth and altitude angles

1. Flat single axis tracking system

Photovoltaic arrays can track the sun in the east-west direction along a horizontal axis to obtain larger power generation, and are widely used in low latitude areas. According to whether there is an inclination angle in the north-south direction, it can be divided into standard single axis tracking type and single axis tracking type with inclination angle.

2. Oblique single axis tracking system

The tracking axis rotates in the east-west direction while setting a certain inclination angle towards the south, and rotates around this inclination axis to track the sun's azimuth angle to obtain greater power generation, which is suitable for application in higher latitude areas.

3. Dual axis tracking system

Using two axis rotations (vertical and horizontal) to track the sunlight in real-time, ensuring that the sunlight is perpendicular to the surface of the component board at every moment, in order to obtain maximum power generation, suitable for use in various latitude regions.
